    Our Focus Question:  How do we use what we see to determine what we get in the laboratory?

    Goals
    1. Review "Atomic Structure" summer assignment in preparation for your test on August 25th.
    2. Work on element symbols.  Yep, you need to know these.
    3. Set up the graph composition book for data collection.
    At all times and with all work, you must show a neatly organized approach WITH units, correct chemical formulas, balanced equations, etc.  

    Agenda
    1. Composition Books (9:15 - 9:35) - ONLY IF WE HAVE THEM
      1. Follow instructions as outlined. I will help.
      2. You WILL NOT have your info sheets to add to your notebook yet but I will distribute as soon as I have them to give to you.  
      3. Atomic Structure - review of summer work with a focus on the following problems
        1. Problem Set 1 - 2, 3
        2. Problem Set 2 - 5, 7, 9, 10
        3. Compare and discuss your answers.Give each other specific feedback based on the details that are required.  Make note of items you and your group still have trouble with. 
      4. Atomic Structure Problem Set 3 - Complete in class.  Compare. Discuss.
        1. Closure
          1. About those element symbols.  Use remaining time to practice!
          2. Complete the Today's Exit Slip.  Go to Classroom to access.  It's due before you leave.  Forms submitted before "Closure" are not valid.

        Log on to Google Classroom and check for instructions. Information for preparing for the next class will always be posted to Classroom.
