Our Focus Question:  How do we use what we see to determine what we get in the laboratory?

Goals
  1. Review "Math Skills" summer assignment in preparation for your test on August 25th.
  2. Determine the density of various objects/substances and report results to the correct number of significant digits including error analysis. 
At all times and with all work, you must show a neatly organized approach WITH units, correct chemical formulas, balanced equations, etc.  

Agenda
  1. Bell Ringer (2:22-2:35 minutes)
    1. Open the review document for math skills (go to Classroom).
    2. Locate the problem sets and review/do/get started on the following with your classmates:
      1. Problem Set 1 - 3, 4, 6
      2. Problem Set 2 - 10, 11, 12
  2. Math Skills Review (2:35-3:35)
    1. Review of summer work from bell ringer.  Take GREAT notes!!!!!
      1. Compare and discuss your answers.Give each other specific feedback based on the details that are required.  Make note of items you and your group still have trouble with. 
      2. Work additional problems.  Be prepared to turn them in. You may discuss in groups, but BE SURE that YOU know what you are doing. 
      3. Q&A with Mrs. Hill (on-going and whole class as needed)
    2. Closure
      1. Did you go to Google Classroom for your HW last night?  Are you on yet???
      2. Complete the Today's Exit Slip.  You can use the form embedded below or go to Classroom to access.  It's due before you leave.  Forms submitted before "Closure" are not valid.  Did you complete the exit slip for yesterday???
      3. Did we talk about "Book Club Monday"???
      4. Test next week.
