Goals
- Express the precision of measurements using ± notation to express uncertainty.
- Use ± information in calculations.
- Determine accuracy of results using percent error.
Agenda

- Obtain:
- AP Chem Parent Quick Reference. Take this home to your parents.
- "I Can" Checklist for Lab Safety and Math Skills
- One sheet of card stock and a marker.
- Fold the card stock "hot dog" style to make a tent.
- In the middle on one side, write your first name.
- In the upper right hand corner, write your grade level (10, 11, or 12).
- In the upper left hand corner, write nothing.
- In the bottom left hand corner, write a word that describes you.
- In the bottom right hand corner, write a word that describes chemistry to you.
- Introduce yourself to your table mates. Make sure you know what everyone likes to be called. Share your summer highlights.
- Discuss each summer assignment and answer the following questions:
- What was the easiest part of the review this summer?
- What was the most challenging or most difficult?
- What do you need Mrs. Hill to help with the most? Use a post-it note to add your comments to the inside of your table tent.
