Goals
- Identify and describe appropriate dress for laboratory investigations.
- Identify safe and unsafe laboratory conditions and behaviors.
- Follow best practices in the handling of chemicals and equipment in order to minimize exposure to chemicals.
Activities
- Bell Ringer
- Continue were you left off yesterday with the safety activities. We had done ONE rotation and moved to the next, but you will have a few minutes at that second rotation beginning when the tardy bell rings.
- Once time is up for the second rotation, be ready for some announcements.
- I will distribute table tents. I am practicing names!
- Housekeeping
- Did you:
- Give your parents the reference sheet?
- Get signed on to Google Classroom?
- Get your parent/guardian to complete the syllabus and lab safety agreement?
- Here from your parent/guardian that I sent an email? :-)
- Classroom:
- HW is ALWAYS posted there. Don't forget to check.
- You will "submit" your pre-lab there and it is due TODAY when the bell rings 12:10.

- Should be updated by class time today. Please check it.
